I live in Los Feliz, CA where you can find a coffee shop within a five step walking radius. On this particular day, I went to Dinosaur Coffee in Silver Lake and grabbed an almond cappuccino. I always order for take away but I decided to take a beat and ordered in to read my book and people watch. Ummm, best decision of the week because I received my almond cap in this beautiful ceramic cup this one. So beautiful that I purchased one!
W/R/F Lab is run by Japanese artist Nobuhito Nishigawara in Southern California. Their collections fuses the artistry of traditional Japanese ceramic production with a clean and simple aesthetic. I love the two toned neutrals on the pieces as well as the shapes. I also love the fact that I get a chance to support a local artisan.
I was looking to start an arsenal of ceramics and W/R/F Lab is my first piece!
